Meet the Owners of Mosquito Joe of East Mississippi

Robert Carleton is a Co-Owner of Mosquito Joe of East Mississippi. After hearing a radio commercial for a mosquito treatment company, he immediately began researching franchise opportunities to offer mosquito treatment services in east Mississippi. Mosquito Joe stood above all other franchises in treatment products and procedures, corporate support, and marketing. His vision is to improve the quality of life for families by eradicating mosquitoes so, they can spend quality time outdoors at home.

With his brother-in-law and co-owner, Robbie Knight, Mosquito Joe of East Mississippi began servicing east Mississippi in July, 2016. he two owners believe in developing the business with a hands-on approach. According to Robert, “The most rewarding part of this business are the positive comments we receive about enabling families to enjoy being outside without concern for mosquitoes and the loyalty we’ve established with customers that return year after year for that experience.”

Robert is a CPA and has experience owning other small businesses. His knowledge of business planning, forecasting, budgeting, accounting, and taxes has been instrumental in the development of a viable business model.

Robert is a graduate Union High School and Mississippi State. He enjoys attending Mississippi State sporting events and music concerts of bands from the 1970’s & 80’s. He and his wife, Melissa, and 13-year-old son, Hob, reside in Union. They are members of First Baptist Church of Union.

Joshua Litchfield serves as the office manager at Mosquito Joe of East Mississippi. He educates callers on our premier treatment program and sets up their account. Joshua does our bookkeeping and creates routes for our technicians. As the 2019 field operations supervisor, he has field experience and knows the attention to detail required in making your outside fun again. Joshua is graduate of Southeast Lauderdale, where he was part of the 2012 State Championship baseball team as a pitcher, 3rd baseman, and outfielder. Joshua married his wife, Rebekah, in November of 2018 and has a highly energetic Dalmatian named Tetch. His favorite hobbies outside of work include playing softball, going to any dirt track racing event, and rooting for the Atlanta Braves.

Meet William Knight, Field Technician

William is our longest serving technician with Mosquito Joe, beginning his work in 2017 when our franchise first opened. He has been working diligently to eradicate your mosquitoes, ticks and fleas for the past 4 years. William is also a school teacher at Russell Christian Academy. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Dori.

Meet Andrew Taylor, Field Technician

Andrew Taylor serves as a field technician at Mosquito Joe of East Mississippi, where he has worked for 2 years. Outside of work, Andrew is a full-time student at Mississippi College. He enjoys spending time with his family and working out in his spare time.

Noah Greer serves as a field technician at Mosquito Joe of East MS. Outside of work Noah enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelsey. He also enjoys going to the beach, playing golf, and coaching baseball.

Meet Tanner Elders, Field TechnicianTanner Elders Mosquito Joe Technician

Tanner Elders is from Hickory, Mississippi, and graduated from Newton County High School, where he was a standout athlete in baseball, football, and soccer. He was named Class 4A utility player and a pitcher of the year after posting a 14-0 pitching record and leading his team to the state championship. After high school, he continued his baseball career at East Central Community College and the University of West Alabama as a pitcher. He understands the value of hard work and credits ECCC Coach Neil Holliman for teaching him the discipline to give 100% in all he does. Tanner takes the same approach with Mosquito Joe as he did in baseball: he gives his best effort in everything he does!
